Its LSZH rated, aqua coloured jacket, with a 3.0mm diameter, is ideal for high density data centre environments

The migration to OM3 occurred as users upgraded to higher speed networks. LED’s have a significant lower modulation rate as they cannot be turned on/off fast enough to support higher bandwidth applications. VCSEL’s are capable of modulation over 10 Gig and are used in many high-speed networks.
